Shooting guard Dwyane Wade has been having some injury issues lately, but it appears he will be ready to go for the All-Star game as an honor to the fans who voted him.

“Yeah I’ll be fine. I’ll be out there Sunday,” Wade said to NBA.com. “I’m not going to be the young gun trying to do too much, but I’ll be out there.”

That is nice to hear, but hopefully he does not re-aggravate anything out there. His body has been so fragile in the past couple years, so the main thing will be hoping for is that the three-time champ will be fully ready for the playoffs. His will to get back on the court cannot be underestimated, and after the championship run last season he is pretty much playing with house money. It bears mentioning that Wade has one more title than LeBron James, which sounds like blasphemy but it also happens to be the truth. Think in the end that James will end up exceeding Wade, but as long as they are on the same team it is not really a possibility so Flash will probably hold on for dear life.

Thanks as always for reading; one more piece coming your way tonight, and then we will have to see what is shaking for Valentine’s day night. Some chocolate might be in order.
