Nique is known for his highlight-reel worthy dunks while a member of the Atlanta Hawks. He won the 1985 Slam Dunk Contest over Michael Jordan. The final score was 147-136. One of the most iconic images in sports was produced during that Slam Dunk Contest. On Nique’s second dunk of the finals, he threw down a huge two-handed windmill that is now simply known as the Nique Mill.
The 54-year-old currently serves as a Hawks play-by-play analyst. He represents the Hawks in everything that he does on and off the court. He’s one of the best to play the game and one of the best people to ever play the game.
It’s a good idea if you do go and follow Mr. Wilkins. I promise that in the coming days he’ll get the all important blue check and he’ll get more and more into showing the fans some love. I have even seen him begin to start giveaways from his account. Who knows what great things might come out of Nique being on Twitter?
Dominique Wilkins is a most-follow for all NBA fans, young and old. One of the most exciting players to play the game is looking to be one of the most exciting professional athletes past or present to follow on Twitter.
