Chris ‘Birdman’ Andersen’s Postgame Interview Will Scare You
Chris ‘Birdman’ Andersen has a reputation for being, uh, different. Just one look at the Miami Heat center and it’s clear that he’s not your average bear. To me, that’s a good thing. We have too many boring people on this Earth. However, the Birdman is not for everyone. That was made clear on Monday night during a postgame interview.
Check out Andersen as he proceeds to put out a ‘unique vibe’ during this studio segment:
Did anyone else get a little scared?
To say that Birdman gave a unique postgame interview, would be putting it lightly. On top of his comments, or lack of comments, some of his facial expressions were very intense. After they kicked it back down to the court, then it just became real awkward once he asked them why they were laughing. I’m going to guess they were laughing because they didn’t know what else to say.
But even though Birdman is a strange character, there’s no doubt he’s vitally important to the Heat’s three-peat hopes. He provides Miami with much needed size and muscle down low, something that’s not exactly a ‘strength’ in South Beach. If the Heat want to win their third straight championship, they’ll need Anderson on his A-game in the conference finals and potentially The Finals.
When it comes to the Eastern Conference, there’s almost no doubt that Miami will take on Indiana for the second straight year. Will the Pacers’ signing of Andrew Bynum pay off? I can’t wait to find out.
