5 Free Agents The Golden State Warriors Should Target This Offseason

Warriors Free Agents

The Golden State Warriors' winning ways over the past few years have made them one of the most desirable destinations for free agents. Coupled with their great fanbase, the Warriors are a team that could make huge waves with their free agent signings this season. Take a look at the five free agents the Warriors should target this offseason.

5. Boris Diaw

While Boris Diaw is far from a big name, the Warriors could only benefit from having him come off of their bench next season. Picture him filling a Carl Landry-esque role for the Dubs.

4. Jason Richardson

Jason Richardson

Jason Richardson has yet to play a game this year, but his scoring ability would be a welcome spark to the Warriors' bench. Plus, having Richardson back in the bay for a farewell season would be great for both sides of the deal.

3. Caron Butler

Caron Butler

Caron Butler has the ability to be a great NBA scorer, which would make him an ideal player for the Warriors' bench. While it may take a bit of convincing to get Butler to accept a lesser role, he would be a significant step forward for the Warriors' title hopes.

2. Lebron James

Lebron James

LeBron James is a player that every team will send a contract offer to. The best player in the NBA could potentially be a free agent this offseason and should be near the top of the Warriors must-sign list. It's a long shot, but could you imagine the bay area fans rallying around James in the 2015 finals?

1. Darren Collison

Darren Collison

Darren Collision has become quite the scorer for the Los Angeles Clippers as of late. After nearly being traded at the deadline, Collison has become one of the Clips' most consistent players. He has a player option coming up at the end of this season, and I think he'll decline in hopes of receiving a larger contract this offseason. He'd be the ideal sixth man for the Warriors.
