The Indiana Pacers have been on a steady rise for the past three seasons. In each season, they have progressed a round further into the playoffs. Last season's East Conference Final loss to the Miami Heat in Game 7 was the closest the franchise has been to the NBA Finals since 2003. This season's hot start has cooled off somewhat, and if they fall short of the goal again, these free agents may be the answer for their winning woes.

The signing of the big man this year made headlines, and the acquisition will hopefully take the Pacers to the next level. Regardless of the outcome for this season, Andrew Bynum is a solid piece off the bench and Indiana could really use him.

When the Indiana Pacers traded Danny Granger for Evan Turner, they were making it a point to prepare for their future. They need to make sure they can keep him in the blue and yellow if they want to make it to the mountaintop. His defensive abilities will be a great weapon for Frank Vogel.

Despite his struggles with injuries, Jordan Hill has great potential at the forward position. In the Pacers' system, he could put up quality numbers and give the aging David West some good rest.

Lance Stephenson has been the x-factor for the Indiana Pacers all year. His 14.1 points and 4.9 assists per game are both career highs for the fourth year man from Brooklyn. The Pacers would be crazy to let this diamond in the rough get away from them.

The Indiana Pacers' biggest problem is LeBron James. They literally have no one to guard him. The Pacers' Paul George has given it his best effort but to no avail. If Indiana can land Thabo Sefolosha for his defensive purposes alone, they may be able to claim the East once and for all. His three-point range wouldn't hurt the Pacers' offense either.
