The Indiana Pacers are right on the edge of a championship. If they do not make it happen this year, then here are five things that they can address in the offseason. I would never deign to give advice to Larry Bird though, so do not make any mistakes about that.

5. Ditch Andrew Bynum's Knees

I know that they probably only signed Bynum to keep him away from the Heat, but I also think that this experiment has run its course. Bynum is not a pro basketball player, and we just all need to accept that we live in that world.

4. Lock Up Larry Bird Longterm

Bird's roster moves last offseason were fantastic, and that is why the Pacers are on top of the East. They need to make sure that Larry Legend stays with them for life

3. Get a Real Point Guard

3. Get a True Point Guard

Don't get me wrong; I love George Hill, but just not on this team. They need a true point guard, and Hill is more of a floor spacing shooter who does not handle the ball that much. Their team could go to another level if they had someone who could set up David West in deep post position.

2. Get Paul George a Backup

You can see that George's jump shot is not quite as consistent as it was at the beginning of the year, and if he had a better backup then he might be able to get a bit more rest in the first half. Just an idea.

1. Develop Lance Stephenson

Lance has proven himself to be the engine of the Pacers' offense at times, and I believe the shooting guard even leads the league in triple-doubles. If he continues to develop, then we could be talking about him leading the team in scoring next year.
