As one of the best young point guards in the NBA, Goran Dragic has the surprising Phoenix Suns 14 games over .500 and in the midst of a serious playoff race — the race for eighth place in the Western Conference. Reigning from Slovenia, Dragic has taken over the NBA as one of the best international players in the league and quite possibly one of the best singers as well — or so it looks.
Dragic, 27, is a five-year veteran of the NBA and he is showing this year just why he made the jump from overseas to the United States.
The solid point guard is having his best professional season yet, averaging 20.5 points, 5.9 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game. All of those numbers are career-highs — or close to it. His assists per game are a bit down from a year ago, but his scoring has skyrocketed.
Remember when I mentioned earlier that he might be one of the best singers in the league? Yeah, I was just kidding, but this music video that has been made about him definitely takes a sense of humor approach:
This video was made with the help of Slovenian comedian, Klemen Slakonja. Dragic looked to be pictured in the video, but it was actually played by the comedian and he did an amazing job.
Sure it’s pretty weird, but you have to give it to Dragic for being such a good sport about the odd video and he is probably proud of being the subject of a tribute/joke song.
I mean, I’m still pretty confused about what I just watched, but hey, everyone’s humor is different. Actually, this is pretty funny.
