The Chicago Bulls saw the Washington Wizards coming tonight. More importantly, Joakim Noah was ready to assert his will and lead his team to victory.

The Bulls got a win tonight against the Wizards by a final score of 96-78. The blowout was spearheaded by Noah who had a monster game for Chicago.

Noah had 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field, including 3-of-3 from the free-throw line. He also added 12 rebounds and three assists to his stat line. He was efficient from start to finish, finding his spots on the floor to score and directing his teammates to where they needed to be in order to be effective on offense and defense.

This game is only a small part of what he has done all season to prove himself as a foundational center.

On the season, Noah is averaging 12.4 points per game to go along with 11.1 rebounds per game and 5.2 assists per game.

Noah does everything necessary for his team to win on a nightly basis. Noah can find scoring opportunities for himself, but he is best when setting up for others.

His unique court vision allows him to utilize his height (6-foot-11) and see over opposing defenses to make the appropriate pass for his teammates. There are not many big men in the NBA who can make passes like Noah can, and any player who is a gifted and willing passer fits the team concept perfectly and can only help his team win games.

Not only is Noah a unique player on the offensive end, but his tenacity and energy on the defensive end makes him a terror for opposing teams every night on the court. Noah hustles and plays just as hard as any other player in the league, and his ability to run the floor on the fast break and run back on defense to make a key play sets him apart from many other big men in the pros.

A big man who can score, rebound and pass as well as play quality defense is rare enough, but a center with all of those skills plus elite athleticism for a player his size makes Noah one of the most special players in the NBA.

Noah has many different tools to help his team win games. Along with his basketball abilities, Noah is loud and outspoken, and is not afraid of anyone on or off the court. A player with those kinds of basketball abilities and an attitude like that is a force to be reckoned with.

Like it or not, Joakim Noah is one of the best players in the NBA and a born winner.
