This team if full of talented veterans who are willing to do anything to win a championship. The Nets are full of All-Stars who are capable of beating any team in the NBA. Joe Johnson and Deron Williams are chasing after their first ring, while Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett feel they have unfinished business with just one ring. The determination of this team is going to be fun to watch in the playoffs.

Although they took a while to figure it out, the starting lineup is stacked with talented players. However, beyond the starting five is equally as important. The Nets have role players like Shaun Livingston who have exceeded all expectations. Andrei Kirilenko and Andray Blatche are solid options, rookie Mason Plumlee has been terrific and scorers like Alan Anderson and Marcus Thornton are providing spark off the bench.

The Nets will go as far as Deron Williams takes them. He needs to step up and lead this team deep into the playoffs. Unless you have a LeBron James handy, you need a special type of point guard to win the NBA Finals. D-Will happens to be one of the best PGs in the league. This is the year he needs to prove himself as a winner.

Confidence is huge when making a deep postseason run. The Nets happen to have all the confidence in the world, especially after beating the Heat four times this season. Brooklyn believes it can get the job done anywhere, even in Miami. This team has come together and shown they can win by playing intense, team-oriented basketball.

The Nets have two players on their team who have been to a combined six Conference Championships and two NBA Finals. Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett have been there and know how to get it done. Despite not being the same player he once was, Pierce is a Finals MVP and a clutch playoff performer. Joe Johnson has also been terrific in the playoffs. The Nets have what it takes to take the East and win the NBA Finals.
