The Oklahoma City Thunder have one of the best home court advantages in all the NBA. Their fans are loyal and loud on any given night. When it comes to the up coming 2014 NBA Playoffs, you know that the OKC faithful will be as jacked as ever. Kevin Durant and company have a good shot to escape the Western Conference and make it to the Finals for the second time in the past three years.

But in the case of the team’s first round series against the Memphis Grizzlies, the phrase ‘home court advantage’ might not be enough to describe what the Thunder will have going on at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Check out the state restrictions for buying tickets to a Thunder home playoff game:

“Are Sales are INTERNET Only. ***VERY IMPORTANT !!*** Sales to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 2014 Home Playoff Games at Chesapeake Energy Arena, will be restricted to residents of Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri and Nebraska. Residency will be based on credit card billing address. Orders by residents outside of this area will be canceled without notice and refunds given. **PLEASE NOTE: This restriction does not apply to resale tickets.”

As you can see, residents of Tennessee are not allowed to buy tickets — advantage OKC.

Obviously, Grizzlies fans can still buy tickets on the resale market, but these restrictions figure to cut down on the amount of road team fans at Chesapeake Energy Arena in the coming days.

If OKC does make another run to the Finals, it will be interesting to see if the state restrictions will still apply.
