The Orlando Magic heads into this offseason with more questions than answers. What must be done in order for the Magic to get into the playoffs next season? Let's find out.
Afflalo blossomed into a go-to guy this season, posting career highs in points, rebounds and assists. The question facing Orlando will be if they want to keep Afflalo and build around him, or will they trade him to make room for Andrew Wiggins or Jabari Parker?
Going into next season, the Magic needs to figure out if Oladipo will finally be given the keys to the team. Magic coach Jacque Vaughan was not sure if Oladipo was a starter or a sixth man. The Magic did not draft him to come off the bench, so look for him to take over the team's offense next season.
I have dedicated an entire article on why Tobias Harris needs to be a starter. But unfortunately, I am not the coach. But the Magic will need to finally define his role if the Magic expects to go anywhere next season.
Harkless is the Magic's best one-on-one defender, but his offense leaves a lot to be desired at this point, which is why he would be best fitted for the sixth-man role. But again, I am not the coach. The Magic are going to have to figure out what to do with Harkless: Either define his role or trade him.
One of the biggest rumors surrounding the Magic is whether Nelson will stay or go. For the benefit of the franchise, it would be wise for the Magic to part ways with their long-time starting point guard. But then again, I am not the GM.
