The New York Knicks just finished one of their most disappointing seasons in recent memory. Fresh off a 54-win season and a playoff-series win last year, the Knicks won only 37 games this year and missed the playoffs in the feeble East. Now that the offseason has arrived, Knicks fans want improvements, but there are question marks everywhere. Before any changes can be made, here are five colossal questions the organization must answer.

5. Performance and Health of Big Men

The Knicks' frontcourt was ineffective this season. Tyson Chandler didn't resemble the former Defensive Player of the Year, Andrea Bargnani was injured for half of the season and Amar'e Stoudemire didn't contribute until when the campaign was lost. Even then, he was only able to be productive in limited minutes. Can these three men play well next season or are they all on the decline? Can the Knicks count on them to be consistently productive?

4. Point Guard Troubles

The largest problem with the Knicks' roster was the lack of capability at the point-guard position. Raymond Felton and Pablo Prigioni had poor seasons. Offensively, these two guards are decent and can both distribute the ball fairly well. However, night after night, the Knicks always got killed defensively at the spot. The Knicks need a point guard who can play both sides of the ball. Felton and Prigioni need to be replaced.

3. Head Coach Mike Woodson

The majority of NBA Analysts believe head coach Mike Woodson will be fired by next season. Woodson worked as hard as he could to make this a winning team and he never gave up on this goal, which is highly commendable. But the team tuned Woodson out too often this season because Woodson's coaching style and defensive mindset did not mesh with the roster. Will the Knicks fire Woodson, and if so, with who will they replace him?

2. Limited Cap Space

Team president Phil Jackson definitely has a number of roster moves he wishes he could make for 2014-15 season. However, the Knicks have extremely limited cap space for this upcoming season. With the limited wiggle room he has, what will the Zen Master do? All Knicks fans are hoping Phil Jackson can work his magic on this team.

Whether the Knicks will be able to re-sign superstar Carmelo Anthony is far and away the biggest question for the organization this offseason. Anthony has played at an All-NBA level each season he has been with the Knicks and was the only bright spot for the team this past season. He is loved by the fans and losing him to free agency would be a huge blow to the organization and its fans. Phil Jackson must re-sign Carmelo Anthony.
