The Boston Celtics, sans Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, are in the midst of rebuilding under head coach Brad Stevens. The Celtics went 25-57 and finished in 12th place in the Eastern Conference. Only the Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks finished with worse records in the East. Here are five questions the Celtics must answer this offseason.

The 6-foot-9, 235-pound small forward averaged 16.9 PPG, 1.7 APG and 4.6 RPG for the 2013-14 season. He is in the middle of a four-year deal and is due to make 9.2 million dollars in 2014-2015 and 2015-16. Those numbers are also Green’s cap hit. He will be an unrestricted free agent after the 2015-16 season. Will the Celtics try to move him? It is doubtful, but you never know.

The Celtics drafted Bradley 19th overall in 2010. He is now a restricted free agent, and it has been reported that the Celtics offered Bradley a four-year, 24 million dollar deal prior to the season, but he turned it down because he is looking for 8 million dollars per year. If the Celtics are able to re-sign him at a reasonable number, great. If not, it might be okay to let him walk.

The 31-years-old Wallace provided 5.1 PPG, 2.5 APG and 3.7 RPG in the 2013-14 season. He has two more years left on this contract, each at 10 million dollars apiece. His salary, age and the fact he didn’t really produce this past season will make him difficult to move, but if they could pull it off somehow, it could be very beneficial to the Celtics.

The lottery to decide the top three draft spots will take place on May 20. The Celtics have roughly a 33.55 percent chance of getting a top-three pick. Will the Celtics try to draft Andrew Wiggins, Julius Randle, Jabari Parker or Joel Embiid?

Rondo has one year left on his contract and it is extremely doubtful, due to CBA restrictions, that he will sign an extension prior to the start of the season. Do the Celtics truly feel as GM Danny Ainge has stated that Rondo will have the best year of his career, and thus try to sign him to an extension, or do the Celtics believe the right move is to get the most they can by trading Rondo? Could they actually get value for him?
