The Denver Nuggets had a tough season, but there are many questions and rumors laying ahead for this franchise. Let's look at the five biggest rumors that Nuggets fans should watch this coming offseason.
Brooks did a serviceable job as the backup point guard when Lawson went down with an injury and Andre Miller was shipped out of town. But as the Nuggets look to rebuild the team, Brooks will probably not be in the team's plans.
When healthy, Gallinari can be a special talent. But the problem is he just cannot stay healthy. Rumblings coming out of the Nuggets' front office suggest that the team may shop Galo in the offseason.
Faried was one of the lone bright spots in an otherwise dark season in Denver. He will become a free agent this offseason, and it bears to watch if Faried will be willing to sit through a rebuilding project.
Lawson is clearly the team's star, but rumor has it that he is growing increasingly unhappy with the direction the team is going and wants out. If Lawson demands to be traded, the rebuilding project in Denver will begin in earnest.
To say Brian Shaw's first season in Denver was rough is an understatement. Rumor has it that the Nuggets may be willing to part ways with the coach this offseason. If he is still around, he will definitely be on the hot seat next season.
