Clearly, this is an overreaction piece, but at the same time I was seriously impressed with how the new NBA commissioner Adam Silver handled the latest Donald Sterling incident. I think that Hillary Clinton probably has the stranglehold on the next presidency, but that is just an uninformed sports writer reading the tea leaves.

The NBA was in full-on turmoil for a hot minute, and Silver certainly helped the situation greatly with the lifetime ban. We will have to see what happens with the inevitable Sterling lawsuit to come, but I admite the strength the Silver showed during a chaotic time.
