LaMarcus Aldridge was pretty impressive against the Houston Rockets. After all, he did average 29.8 points per game and 11.2 rebounds per game in that series. He also dropped 40+ points twice.

Damian Lillard wasn’t too bad himself in the series against Houston. He made the game-winning shot to seal the deal. Lillard also put up 25.5 points per game, 6.3 rebounds per game and 6.7 assists per game. Him and Aldridge make up a lethal scoring duo.

The Spurs barely got by the No. 8 seed. They will be going up against the No. 5 seed next.

The Trail Blazers have one of the highest scoring offenses in the NBA. That tends to happen when two players average 20+ points per game during the regular season. Sure, the Spurs have a solid defense -- much better than Houston -- but Portland was still able to average 111.7 points per game in their first-round matchup.
