The Miami Heat are looking to make the championship round for the fourth straight year, and this team will take no prisoners on its way to getting there. Here are five reasons why the Indiana Pacers will not dethrone the Heat and instead be crushed.

The Heat possess many weapons on offense that are great at shooting the basketball from deep, making it hard for any team to focus in on one or two guys on defense. Ray Allen, Shane Battier, Chris Bosh and Mario Chalmers all excel at hitting the three-point shot, and LeBron James has also improved as a shooter himself. Too much shooting will lead to too much offense for the Pacers to overcome.

The Heat are a close knit team that can use strong bonds to overcome any number of teams in the postseason. Knowing one another in terms of where each player likes the ball and how they prefer to play the game can really come in handy in high pressure situations because of the familiarity and lack of guesswork necessary. The Pacers have not looked like a close team over the past few months, and the Heat will use that as an advantage.

3. Coaching

Erik Spoelstra has become a quality coach in the NBA since he first started out in the league. Overall, Spoelstra has gone 56-29 in the postseason, and that is not just because he has great players around him. Spoelstra has figured out how to utilize his players to the best of their abilities, and knowing how to do that is the most important thing about coaching at a high level. Spoelstra will put his players in position to succeed against Indy.

2. Veteran Leadership

Not only are James, Dwyane Wade and Bosh veteran stars themselves, but the guys coming off the bench for the Heat have been around the game long enough to know how its played too. Ray Allen, Shane Battier and Chris Anderson are all great players who have the experience necessary to contribute at a high level in the playoffs and keep the mistakes to a minimum. The Pacers do not have a team full of veteran leadership like Miami does.

1. LeBron James

LeBron James is the best player in the world, period. As long as he is on the floor, the Heat will have a chance to win any playoff series against any team. The Pacers have Paul George who is capable of defending James, but no one in the NBA can truly shut him down one-on-one. Look for James to continue his dominance against Indiana and take his team on another finals run.
