After this past weekend, it’s no secret that Kevin Love is not happy with the Minnesota Timberwolves and it’s a safe bet he’ll leave the team via free agency next summer if he’s not traded before then. With the flurry of rumors and reports that have recently surfaced, it can be assumed he’ll be dealt before next season’s trade deadline. Since that will likely be the case, we’ll take a look at where he might end up.

Although this would be detrimental to his career, Love could end up with the Lake Show if L.A. is willing to give up its lottery pick in this year’s draft. Considering Kobe Bryant is pretty much done and Steve Nash is a dinosaur, Love would be in the same predicament he’s in now with the Timberwolves if traded to the Lakers. Without that lottery pick, he’d have no new young yelp and might leave in free agency in 2015.

Many are calling Houston the “dark horse” to land Love as it’s clear the Rockets will need more than James Harden and Dwight Howard to win a title. The former is a great scorer with the ball and the latter is a solid defender, so adding an elite post scorer and rebounder who doesn’t need the ball to make plays would be ideal for this potential Western Conference title contender.

It's been reported the Celtics are planning to offer their lottery pick as part of a package deal for Love, which makes sense considering he’d be a perfect complement to Rajon Rondo. Of course, Boston would need more help to be a title contender, but Love would make the C’s a playoff team.

After losing in the first round of the playoffs, the Warriors fired head coach Mark Jackson and will look to add an elite presence in the paint this offseason. Love fits the Warriors’ scheme perfectly as a fast-paced scorer and rebounder and ESPN has reported Love is “interested” in playing for them. Their offense would be the best in the league with him in the middle.

The Bulls are not going to let another season go to waste, so they’ll be adding offensive firepower this offseason, one way or another. Carmelo Anthony is a hot name, but Love also makes sense. In addition, the Bulls have plenty to offer in a trade for him and he reportedly would like to play for Chicago. With an elite defensive team, Love would be an ideal fit with his rebounding and scoring abilities.
