You could say the Oklahoma City Thunder have a pretty good basketball team. They did finish second in the NBA standings this year. Since their team is so good, they could go after a number of different players, and I would imagine they would go after the best available. With that said, let’s take a look at five players who the Thunder should target at pick No. 29 in the 2014 NBA Draft.

Glenn Robinson III would be a great player to go after because of his upside. He is very athletic. If he can improve his shot, he could become one of the biggest steals of the draft.

I am sure Cleanthony Early will go sooner than this. Regardless, he can score in the paint or from behind the arc. He is a pretty good shooter with range and Oklahoma City would be getting a great player if they could land Early at No. 29.

Jerami Grant

Jerami Grant is an athletic 6-foot-8 forward who could go higher, but that is basically the case with every player on this list. Well, at least the part about going higher in the draft.

Mitch McGary

I imagine Mitch McGary will go to San Antonio or somewhere in the second round, but he wouldn’t be a bad pick for Oklahoma City if he pans out. McGary has the talent to be a lottery pick. He also has the size and potential to dominate in the paint. However, his stock fell quite a bit this past season because of back problems.

C.J. Wilcox is a great shooter. What NBA team wouldn’t want a great shooter? Regardless, he has the skills to contribute for the Thunder on Day 1.
