The Los Angeles Clippers are on the verge of being sold to Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for a whopping 2 billion dollars. Some are happy about it, while others are shocked that the team is worth that much. Then there are others who had some amazing reactions to the sale on Twitter.
This is actually a legitimate question.
I’m not sure if the name would be good for business, but at least it would be accurate.
Glad to see good ol’ Clippy, the friendly and helpful paperclip, making a comeback.
Very clever, Mr. Paradavila.
Sad but true.
I’m not so sure about gazillions, but it would be interesting to see what the Redskins would cost if they were sold.
Once again, NOT SportsCenter doesn’t disappoint.
Something tells me Ballmer might be over his head.
Talk about an epic tweet. She wasn’t kidding about getting all of the Microsoft puns in at once.
By far the most original and hilarious Twitter reaction to the sale of the Clippers goes to @TheTweetofGod.
