Which Teams Are Interested in Jeff Green?

The Boston Celtics should be looking to move Jeff Green this offseason. He's not the guy they hoped he would be and would be better off on a team that doesn't need to rely on him to carry them. Here are five teams that could use the veteran small forward.

With Marcin Gortat and Trevor Ariza set to be free agents, the Wizards will have to make a decision. If they decide to re-sign Gortat, they may try to trade for Green. They could offer Otto Porter Jr. and other bad contracts for Green's services.

This trade scenario all depends on what Cleveland does in the draft. If the Bucks draft Joel Embiid, they will be in the market for a small forward. They could then essentially trade Larry Sanders for Jeff Green.

Like the Bucks, the Cavaliers will be in the market for Jeff Green depending on who they choose with the first overall pick. Again, if they pick Embiid, then they should try to acquire Green. They could offer Dion Waiters or any combination of draft picks and young talent for Green.

2. Detroit Pistons

The Pistons' lineup would be better if they added a scorer at the small forward position and move Josh Smith to the power forward position. The Celtics and Pistons could pull off a sign-and-trade involving Green and Greg Monroe. This would be a win-win for both teams.

The Celtics desperately need a center who can protect the rim. If the Rockets fail to get Carmelo Anthony, then acquiring Jeff Green wouldn't be a bad idea. A swap of Asik and Green would make good scenarios for both teams. If the Celtics were to acquire Kevin Love, Asik would make the perfect complementary big man.
