Brandon Bass has proven to be a reliable, steady role player. He does his job and he does it well. If the Boston Celtics are forced to continue their rebuilding process, then Bass deserves to be traded to a contender. Here are five teams that could use Bass' services.

The Spurs need more depth in the front court and Bass would be a great addition. Bass would add a lot off the bench; he can play post defense and his mid-range jumper would allow players like Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker to penetrate. He would also take a lot of the work load off of Tim Duncan's shoulders inside.

The Bulls also need to bolster their front court. Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson are excellent starters, but they fall very thin behind them. Bass' mid-range jumper would be perfect on this Bulls' roster. His willingness to defend in the paint would also be good to have in Chicago.

3. Houston Rockets

Dwight Howard and Bass teamed up before, and they should do it again. Houston needs more offensive-minded big men like Bass to play next to Howard. Bass would be able to complement Howard and he has a better attitude than Omer Asik.

2. Golden State Warriors

The Warriors have a lot of depth in the front court, but none are as effective as Brandon Bass. Bass could put this Warriors team over the top and play a key role in next year's playoff run.

Bass could also put the Thunder over the top. Nick Collison and Perry Jones are hard-working players, but the Thunder need an offensive-minded big man who can make a significant difference off the bench. Bass' consistency and veteran leadership would be a great addition in Oklahoma City.
