The 10 Worst Flops of the 2014 NBA Season
Does it get any better than watching grown men fall violently to the floor because of the slightest bit of contact? The answer is no. Guys like Cory Brewer of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lance Stephenson of the Indiana Pacers made a name for themselves in the business of flopping this season. It's just a funny sight to see. Here are the 10 best flops of this 2013-13 NBA season. Enjoy.
10. DJ Augustin
It's like Augustin realized at the last second his shot was either going to be extremely ugly or blocked back into his face, so he took the next best option and flew into the innocent photographers on the floor.
9. Mario Chalmers
I'm not sure I've ever seen someone dive that distance on their stomach, but Chalmers made it look easy!
8. P.J. Tucker
I want to give Tucker more credit, but when you launch yourself into a cushion, a few points are taken away.
7. Jerryd Bayless
"Oh, I'm gonna get beat down the court? Game over, I'm out."
6. Lance Stephenson
Ever watch a good flop and wonder how it matches up to a ballerina in mid-recital? This is probably your answer.
5. James Harden
You know what? If I grabbed my own rebound and then found myself staring into the chest of Blake Griffin, I'd probably hit the deck too.
4. Iman Shumpert
Pay attention to the art here. As Shumpert's head flies back, his body actually flies forward. Very well done.
3. Brandon Jennings
Brandon Jennings had a few good flops this season, but this one just doesn't make sense. It's like he was going to lose his balance and decided that would be too embarrassing.
2. Lance Stephenson
If we were only judging the funniest, this flop stands alone. The amount of memes and Vines that popped up because of this was incredible. Bless you, Lance Stephenson.
1. Jodie Meeks
I can't get over this. I'm a skinny dude, but when I can fit in between the elbow and the face, it'd be in your best judgment to keep on your feet and play some defense.
