Metta World Peace Blog: Derogatory Terms Toward Women Need to Stop
Ho*s, b*tches , women, girls, females and queens. How are these all the same? Where did we learn such terms that degrade and hurt our mothers? Will it ever stop?
If a girl is excited to see a star or celebrity, and goes home on the first night, is she a ho*? If she doesn’t date you and the next night is with another person, is she a ho*? Why are us guys so sensitive when it comes to these topics? Why can’t girls just have fun without “you” if they choose?
Now I have to admit, I probably vibe to every song on the radio that mentions “ho*” like everyone else. At the same time I ask myself, who is a ho*? Because I don’t know anymore. Sometimes the word “ho*” is used in a non-derogatory meaning, but it’s still derogatory.
So why do girls like this type of music? Because girls generally are jealous of other girls so why not call that “b*tch a ho*”? If thats the case, why do guys not like girls? What did a girl that you never met do to you/us? And if you have many girls, why can’t you just have many girls instead of ho*s?
“Ho*s” sounds so mean. I guess it’s because I have daughters that I have questions. In my culture we try to refer to our women as queens. We often break up with our queens but I will save that for another story. Pardon my language but that was the only way I could write this post.
Let’s vote: Are women who are called ho*es actually ho*s or are men just stupid? Leave your comment below and let us know!
