The Boston Celtics are the subject of a great deal of speculation heading into the 2014 NBA Draft. From trading for Kevin Love to trading away Rajon Rondo, the Celtics have been rumored to be in both a win-now and rebuilding mode. As part of these trade discussions, Boston will have to decide what to do with their two first-round picks. Having combed through the buzz, here are five last-minute draft rumors surrounding the Celtics.

The Celtics hold the sixth and 17th overall picks in the draft. With the 17th pick, Boston is rumored to have interest in Croatian forward Dario Saric. He is a stretch-four who averaged 16.7 points and 9.7 rebounds in the Adriatic League last season. Saric would not make an immediate impact on Boston, as he recently signed a contract to play in Turkey that will keep him overseas for at least two years.

4. If He Falls, Joel Embiid Will Be the Celtics' Pick

Just two weeks ago, center Joel Embiid was the favorite to go first overall in the draft. Unfortunately, Embiid suffered a broken foot that will force him to miss 4-6 months. His foot injury, in addition to a back injury he dealt with at Kansas, is scaring off teams at the top of the draft. Consequently, Embiid may fall to the Celtics at pick No. 6. If he is available, Boston is said to have interest in the seven-footer.

3. Aaron Gordon is the Pick if Embiid is Not Available

If Embiid is drafted before Boston's first selection, rumors are that the team will draft Arizona forward Aaron Gordon. He is arguably the draft's best athlete. His non-stop motor and limitless potential make him an attractive prospect to teams picking early in the draft. Gordon is still raw offensively, but if he develops a reliable jump shot, he could be a game-changing player for the Celtics.

Boston's No. 1 priority entering the offseason is landing forward Kevin Love. In order to acquire Love, the Celtics would likely have to trade both of their 2014 first-round picks along with young players such as Jared Sullinger and Kelly Olynyk to Minnesota. Bringing in young talent through the draft is great, but the Celtics would sacrifice these assets for Love in a heartbeat.

If Boston is unable to trade for Love, the organization may decide to hit the reset button and trade star point guard Rajon Rondo. The Sacramento Kings are reportedly offering Boston the eighth pick, Derrick Williams and Ben McLemore for Rondo. If the Celtics agree to the deal, the team could target either Marcus Smart or Elfrid Payton with the eighth pick to replace Rondo.
