While there are never any guarantees in the world of sports, it’s a pretty safe bet that Jabari Parker will either go No. 1 or No. 2 overall in tomorrow night’s 2014 NBA Draft. He and Andrew Wiggins are now the top two prospects with Joel Embiid on the shelf, but the Cleveland Cavaliers still ultimately control what goes down on Thursday night.

But if you listen to Parker, there’s little doubt about what will unfold at the Barclays Center:

So there you have it — Parker fully expects to be drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks tomorrow night. But at the same time, you can’t rule out the Cavs taking him. Even though he may not be getting as strong of signals from Cleveland as he is Milwaukee, there are still reports stating the Cavs are unsure who they will select at No. 1.

Cleveland’s front office is said to possibly be at odds with owner Dan Gilbert over who the team should take with the first pick. While the front office folks want Parker, Gilbert might overrule them and go with Wiggins. It seems to be a win-win for situation no matter what for Cleveland, but their pick may ultimately spoil the Bucks’ draft plans.

Parker is also said to prefer Milwaukee over Cleveland because it’s closer to his hometown of Chicago.

The only thing for sure at this point, is that the draft will indeed go down Thursday night.
