Carmelo Anthony Would Be A Fool Not To Join Chicago Bulls

The public image of Carmelo Anthony will be vastly altered by whatever happens next. I do not know if the superstar’s priorities are in line with this, but his championship route is with the Chicago Bulls.

ESPN has reported that the sweet-shooting small forward will test free agency this summer, and it does not come as a surprise. I always thought that ‘Melo would leave Phil Jackson hanging high and dry. The Eastern Conference is wide open right now; there are probably 5-6 teams that will have a legitimate shot to win it next season. The West is obviously tougher to get out of, and you better believe LeBron James and company considered that when they joined the Miami Heat.

‘Melo would be wise to consider those same realities, which is why, in the end, I think that he will join forces with Derrick Rose and company. If it goes down, Bulls fans will spend the rest of the summer holding their breath about their point guard’s health during international play with Team USA.

I expect Anthony to hear a few teams out in the next week, and then he will take a bit of time away to make a decision. Hopefully, the small forward did not hear the recent reports that Rose would rather play with Kevin Love, because Chicago fans would be absolutely thrilled to have a pure scorer like ‘Melo.

President Obama's Got Jokes About Warriors, 1995-96 Bulls

The Golden State Warriors recently visited the White House to be acknowledged for their 2014-15 NBA championship. As you may know, President Obama is a huge fan of basketball, and especially his beloved Chicago Bulls. While introducing the team, President Obama joked that he was in the presence of one member of the greatest team in basketball history with Steve Kerr on stage. The Warriors head coach was a member of the 1995-96 Bulls team that many think of as the greatest team of all time.

Pau Gasol Puts "Shake and Bake" On Kobe Bryant

The Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls squared off on Thursday night, so naturally all eyes were on former teammates Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol. The two had a nice embrace prior to opening whistle, but it was strictly business once the game got started. Don't believe me? Just check out this "Shake and Bake" executed to perfection by Gasol.

Bulls' Noah Comes Nowhere Close To Making Jumper

Joakim Noah is a tremendous hustler and a gritty basketball player who does all the dirty work. That being said, this jump shot was terrible. This was the worst attempt that I've ever seen in my life and I don't expect that Noah will be shooting any more than layups for a good while.
