In the 2014 offseason, the Sacramento Kings are looking to stabilize their roster to make a run at the postseason in 2014-15. What will the Kings do to get there? Let's find out.
Outlaw finally showed flashes of his game last season, but the forward and the Kings would benefit if he played somewhere else. The Kings will trade Outlaw to free up salary cap space.
The Kings could use a big guard, and Livingston would be a great fit for them. Livingston finally came into his own with the Brooklyn Nets last season, and will be a nice fit in the Kings' offense.
Thomas is a gifted point guard who loves to score, but he is a restricted free agent this offseason, and the team will look to sign and trade the little guard in hopes of getting a bigger point guard.
Gay has already opted in to the final year of his contract, and he will sign a contract extension that will keep him in California's capital city for the long term.
With the team looking to trade Thomas, that will leave room for the team to draft their point guard of choice: Marcus Smart. Smart is a big man who can run the floor and create his own offense, and he would pair up very well with DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay.
