Ideally, Derrick Rose will come back as good as ever for the Chicago Bulls in the 2014-15 season. Ideally, Rose will not get injured ever again. Unfortunately, ideally doesn’t always happen. Therefore, Ramon Sessions would be a good backup plan, and apparently the team is interested in him.
As expected, a bunch of teams showing interest in UFA Ramon Sessions, the Bulls being one of them.

D.J. Augustin did a great job for Chicago last season and I am sure Chicago fans are hoping for yet another successful year out of the guard. Augustin didn’t start a single game in the playoffs, but he still managed to average 13.2 points per game and 4.8 assists per game.
As for Sessions, he averaged 12.3 points per game and 4.1 assists per game on the season.
If Rose is 100 percent healthy and looks great on the court, then the Bulls don’t really need Sessions. That is also assuming they hold onto Augustin.
If they are interested in Sessions, though, you never know what the case might be.
A bigger issue is definitely acquiring superstar Carmelo Anthony. Anthony is one of the best scorers in the league and that will probably be the case for a few more seasons. Chicago could definitely use more scorers on its team and landing a player as good as Anthony in that department could lead to a much deeper playoff run in the upcoming season.
Getting Rose back for good would also greatly benefit this team. No matter what the case, picking up Sessions would be a good backup plan. He is not going to lead the league in scoring or anything like that, but he would provide some scoring off of the bench and could fill in as a starter if needed.
