LeBron James is the talk of the summer when it comes to the NBA. As I am sure many people have heard by now, James opted out of his contract. He could still land with a number of different teams, but playing for the Miami Heat once again could be in store for the superstar. There has been rumors swirling around about him taking a 1-2 year deal. That would put King James in the perfect situation.
LeBron James wants short term (1-2 year deal) at max money contract w Heat, source close to negotiation tells me.

If a deal of this nature does go down, LeBron would essentially get to play with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh for another year or two. Wade isn’t exactly his former self and Bosh hasn’t really been the superstar that he once was with the Toronto Raptors. So finishing his career in Miami, with Wade and Bosh at least, does not seem like it will happen.
This would also allow James to play for another contending team once the 1-2 years is up.
Regardless, this would be good for everyone involved, at least for the short term. Wade and Bosh would still get to play with the best player in the world, while still being able to compete for another title, and Miami would stay relevant in the NBA.
If James is signed for 1-2 years, who knows what will happen after that timeframe is over, but at least he would be getting his max deal to stay in South Beach. Regardless, the King is clearly in a perfect situation.
