LeBron James routinely shows his brilliance both on and off the court, and his free agent maneuverings have been a true joy to follow. He learned from "The Decision". His next contract -- rumor has it that he wants a maximum one -- will have some flexibility, because Dwyane Wade might be on the tail end of his career. Chris Bosh is a bit younger, but the power forward has shown a disturbing knack for disappearing in certain playoff games.

If Chris Bosh decides he wants to be the man somewhere else, then the Heat would have a lot of cap space to work with. You should not rule out Pat Riley making an offer for Carmelo Anthony under those circumstances. It is good to be the King; James can bring others to him.
