Predicting the Phoenix Suns' Starting Five If LeBron James Signs

If LeBron James were to sign with the Phoenix Suns, it would be a monumental signing for the franchise. James is the one player who could single-handedly put Phoenix over the top and make them championship contenders. With that said, here is what the Suns’ starting five would look like if James were to sign with the team.

The NBA’s most improved player from last year, Goran Dragic should go into 2014 as the Suns' starting point guard. Dragic can score and pass with ease, and he is a great asset to this Phoenix team.

Although he had some trouble with injuries in 2013, expect Eric Bledsoe to be back and better than ever in 2014. Bledsoe made the most of his minutes when he was on the court, and he is the type of explosive scorer that would play well alongside LeBron.

If James were to sign with the Suns, he would be a massive upgrade over the other small forwards on the team. James would continue his dominance in Phoenix and have more talent around him than in Miami can provide if he were to re-sign.

One of the most underrated power forwards in the league, Markieff Morris burst on to the scene in 2013, and he will only continue to improve. Morris is a double-double threat on any given night, and his scoring ability is above-average for his position.

Due to never being fully healthy, Alex Len’s rookie season was very disappointing. However, with an offseason to heal up and improve his game, he could return with a bang in his second season. I fully expect Len to become one of the better centers in the league in 2014.

Len over Plumlee? That’s a big stretch. Also don’t forget that even after signing LeBron, the Suns could still sign another max level player who would probably take the SF, PF, or C starting position (LeBron could play SF or PF).
