As the NBA’s free agency speculation period creeps into its eighth day, it seems only right to take a look at something we know for sure. So take a break from all of the rumors and scroll through five of the Miami Heat's early summer league standouts.

With the need for dead-eye shooting at a premium, 6-foot-4 Tyler Johnson came out and put on a show, finishing 6-for-6 from the field while going 2-for-2 from behind the three-point line. However, he is likely showcasing his talents for another team.

Andre Dawkins is another likely sure miss for the Miami Heat roster, but his 3-for-6 three-point shooting will probably open the eyes of others.

Justin Hamilton’s ability to stretch the floor with his jump shot shows that he could fit perfectly into Miami’s image of the prototypical big man. And if his average of 14 points and nine rebounds were not enough, he can tout the fact that he is the only Summer League player to experience the Heat’s failed attempt at a championship run.

2. Shabazz Napier

Shabazz Napier got off to a rocky start, but he turned his eight turnovers and 3-for-15 shooting into redemption when he torched the Brooklyn Nets' backcourt for 17 points, four rebounds and seven assists.

“The contrast showed signs of the quick study Napier will need to be to crack the regular-season rotation,” said Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Looks like Norris Cole better watch out.

After being stashed away in Australia and Puerto Rico for a year -- and coming away with a NBL championship and MVP trophy -- James Ennis is proving that he can be more than an athlete. And his 9-for-10 three-point shooting is showing just that.
