It's safe to say that before the NBA Draft, everyone in Philadelphia was looking forward to the NBA Summer League where we would get to see our two first-round picks in action. Obviously, that's not going to happen with Joel Embiid healing his broken foot and Dario Saric headed for Turkey. But that doesn't mean Sixers fans have nothing to look forward to. Here are five early Summer League standouts that will give the 76ers reason to hope.

Acquired by the Sixers on draft night in 2013, Kazemi opted to play in his native Iran last season and has now arrived in Orlando to play for the Sixers. While in Iran, Kazemi averaged 14 points, 11.7 rebounds and 2.6 steals a game and showed lots of potential.

When the Sixers played the Thunder last Sunday, Ware scored 20 points and showed he can score as well as run the offense. At 5-foot-10, he a bit small, but he could be a solid option off the bench for the Sixers.

3. Ronald Roberts Jr.

There is nothing Philadelphia loves more than local talent, which is why everyone is so impressed with Roberts Jr., who is out of St. Joe's. In his first two games he scored a combined 24 points and had 15 rebounds. Like Kazemi, Roberts is another player with a ton of potential.

2. K.J. McDaniels

As the Sixers highest draft pick from 2014 that fans will actually have a chance to see play, it's tough not to get excited about McDaniels. In his first few games he has already proven to be a defensive presence and proficient shot blocker.

1. Nerlens Noel

After a year of waiting, the hype of Noel actually taking to the hardwood has been almost palpable for Sixers fans. With 19 points, four steals and going seven for seven from the free throw line in his first game, it's safe to say he made plenty of the 76ers fans happy.
