Chris Bosh has a lot of options on the table, and it seems like he is waiting for what happens with LeBron James before making a choice. I think the most likely landing spot for the power forward is now the Houston Rockets, but we will have to see what ends up going down with King James. Chandler Parsons recently signed a three-year offer sheet, which complicates things for Bosh, because there is now a timer on his decision.
We all know about the tax laws in Texas, but it also bears mentioning Bosh is originally from the area. That could make the ultimate difference. If money was the power forward's main concern, then this already would have happened.
Having Dwight Howard and James Harden as teammates sounds pretty nice to me, but we will have to see if Bosh wants to head out to the crowded Western Conference. LeBron James is talented too, however the Rockets are clearly the PF's second-best option.
This is mainly due to the Rockets' lack of shooting. They do not have Ray Allen coming off the bench, but Chandler Parsons has proven himself to be a quality player in the last two seasons. He should not be taking any touches away from Bosh though, and it helps that Dwight Howard never shoots jumpers.
Bosh had to guard the rim in Miami, but Howard can worry about the paint for the Rockets. That combination of big men could really help out the Rockets on the defensive side of the ball, and I love this potential team the more I think about them.
Even the Miami Heat have at times doubted the power forward and his abilities. Daryl Morey would be absolutely thrilled to have him on the roster, and the Rockets would take another step towards a championship with Bosh's addition to the team.
