Carmelo Anthony has been impressed with Phil Jackson's tenure so far, but the question is whether it will be enough to keep the superstar in town. I think the money will be a major factor if he does decide to keep playing at Madison Square Garden. Melo said recently that he "believes" in the Zenmaster, which tells me he is thinking about staying. Here are five reasons to believe.

Phil Jackson's resume is fairly amazing. He has 13 rings when you count his time as a player and head coach, and he has mentored some of the top talents to ever play the game. He has never won one as an executive, but the early signs are looking pretty good.

It is hard to imagine James Dolan booting Jackson out of town before that contract is up, which should give the Zenmaster plenty of time to build a contender. It is still unknown whether Anthony wants to endure the 2014 season with the Knicks, but it is probably hard to walk away from all that extra cash.

Pretty much everyone to have ever worked with Jackson greatly enjoyed the experience. It is a little bit different as an executive, but just look at the job Pat Riley has done in Miami for an example of how this might go for Phil.

Understand that Carmelo grew up watching Jackson coach the Chicago Bulls, and I am sure that all of New York would love to see Phil return to the bench. I just do not see it happening, but Derek Fisher should have no problem implementing the Triangle offense considering he ran it for almost a decade.

Carmelo has been impressed by Jackson's moves this offseason, and we have only witnessed the start of the new president's tenure. The trade for Jose Calderon in particular will open up the offense next season. I thought the Knicks also did a solid job in the draft, but we will have to wait and see whether Anthony decides to accept the Zenmaster's contract offer.
