Now that LeBron James is officially a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers once again, it would be easy for the organization to sit back and be satisfied with its offseason. With Kevin Love reportedly still available via trade, however, the Cavaliers should do everything in their power to acquire him from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Here are 5 reasons why Cleveland should trade for Love.

Something that gets largely ignored when discussing potential trade destinations for big-name players is whether or not the team acquiring said player actually has the assets to make a trade viable in the first place. Cleveland can offer a very intriguing package including Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and future first-round picks.

Cleveland needs perimeter shooting badly, especially in light of the fact that it's adding James — a player who generates a ton of open shots for his teammates — to the roster. Love is one of the best shooters from the power forward position in the game today.

Reports have indicated for weeks that Love is very interested in playing with James and would re-sign in Cleveland if the Cavaliers acquired both him and LeBron. There would be no mystery about Love's future with the team if the Cavs traded for him; he would be in Cleveland for many years.

2. Gives LeBron Even More to Work With

The more high-level talent James has to work with, the better off his team will be. Adding Love to a roster that already has LeBron and Kyrie Irving on it would make Cleveland's offense essentially impossible to stop.

Love is solid in the post and is a very good shooter from the perimeter. His offensive versatility would mesh perfectly with James' game. A front court with these two players is unquestionably the NBA's best regardless of whoever is playing center. Cleveland would be silly not to make a strong push to nab Love.
