It’s crazy to think that Chris Bosh is passing up such a great opportunity with the Houston Rockets. Bosh is reportedly going to stay with the Miami Heat. Losing LeBron James may be a huge disappointment, but Bosh’s best is yet to come in South Beach.

Bosh will hopefully have a much different role for the Heat now that LeBron is gone. James was clearly the go-to guy and the one counted on to do most of the work. Well, Bosh can now play how he wants to and be the go-to guy in the process.

Of course, Dwyane Wade will still be on the team, but Wade’s injuries have been taking their toll. Now, if Wade can actually stay healthy for an extended period time, Miami will have a very good duo on its hands. The Big 2 if you will.

Wade is still a player who averaged 19 points per game this past season on 54.5 percent shooting from the field. That’s pretty good for a player who many people think is nearing washed up status.

As for Bosh, well, he still averaged 16.2 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game this season. He definitely didn’t have his best season yet, but it is what it is.

Bosh is still in his prime, he is healthy and his best days are yet to come.

The Heat will definitely not be as good as they were with LeBron in the lineup, but the East is weak and they still have enough firepower to contend in this conference. As for a title, well, they certainly have a long ways to go.
