Although the 2013 NBA Draft was not filled with as much talent as the 2014 NBA Draft, there were still plenty of great players from that draft class. Players like Michael Carter-Williams had very successful seasons, but there are other rookies, now sophomores, who will have great years in 2014-15.

Read on to see five second-year players who will breakout in the upcoming season.

Cody Zeller didn’t have a season to remember in year one, but he did manage to average 6.0 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game. Zeller could start in the upcoming season, and that alone would help his stats go up.

4. Anthony Bennett, Cleveland

Anthony Bennett was a huge disappointment in his rookie season. Some fans will already argue that he was a bust. If the Cavaliers are going to land Kevin Love, getting rid of the former No. 1 overall draft pick will probably have to happen. With that said, a change of scenery could be the best option for him. The talent is still there and Bennett is only 21.

3. Shabazz Muhammad, Minnesota

Shabazz Muhammad put up a whopping 3.9 points per game on 27.3 percent shooting from behind the arc last season. Believe it or not, Muhammad was the No. 2 ranked recruit in the 2012 class. That may seem like ages ago, but Muhammad is making progress and he will show that in the upcoming season in a big way.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is lighting it up in summer league, which could mean great things for the 2014-15 season. Caldwell-Pope has the talent to become a great scorer. We will all see that talent going to work once the season starts.

The Philadelphia 76ers got a steal with Nerlens Noel in last year’s draft. Noel could have gone No. 1 overall, but an injury in his only season at Kentucky killed that. The big man is going to go off once he finally hits the court for the 76ers.
