Tanking has become a part of the NBA landscape. Some teams do it because they can't afford to compete, while others do it to get a better draft pick. This season will be no different. The tankers are always subject to change because some franchises decide to trade the farm when they have a bad start. For now, these five teams seem like they are most likely to tank in 2014-15.

It is hard to imagine the Los Angeles Lakers as a team who will tank, especially after not making the playoffs last season, but the writing is on the wall. They are looking to dump the final year of Steve Nash's contract. Kobe Bryant will be trying to win every game and score 100 points a night, but his supporting cast is the worst it has ever been. They will get another high pick this season.

The Utah Jazz have some really good cornerstones to their franchise in Dante Exum, Trey Burke and Gordon Hayward. Unfortunately, that is pretty much it. They have some work to do to get any better and will look to add more high-quality talent in next year's draft.

The Orlando Magic have made some questionable moves. They chose Aaron Gordon over Exum, traded Aaron Afflalo for basically nothing and then they signed players like Ben Gordon and Channing Frye. They aren't going to compete, even in the awful Eastern Conference.

With the impending loss of superstar forward Kevin Love, it isn't looking good for the outcome of the Minnesota Timberwolves' season. They have Ricky Rubio and a few decent role players, but they don't have a team that will compete in the Western Conference. They will most likely trade off a good majority of their expiring contracts.

Does Philadelphia know anything besides rebuilding when it comes to their basketball team? Nerlens Noel is coming into his first professional season. Their first pick, Joel Embiid, will miss most, if not all of the first half of the season. They are playing for the future and will look to be a top-five pick once again.
