Now that just about all the big-name free agents have been signed, the NBA offseason is now The Rajon Rondo Show. Make sure you tune in, and also check out Rondo's top five landing spots.
The Kings were rumored to be talking to Boston about a Rondo trade just before the free agency period began. Then, the free agency period began and the Kings didn't re-sign Isaiah Thomas. Darren Collison is no starter, so there's an opening at point guard.
It truly is Rondo or bust for the Rockets. With egg on their face after a pathetic offseason so far, the Rockets need to make a splash. The rumors have been out there, but there isn't an available player worth a dime on the Rockets' roster.
The Heat can't possibly be content with the recently re-signed Mario Chalmers. Pat Riley has won a title before with a pure passing point guard in Jason Williams, so Rondo would obviously make perfect sense.
In what has been a monster offseason thus far for the Mavericks, Mark Cuban and company have interestingly left the point guard position wide open. The Mavericks probably have more scoring than anybody, so Rondo, the best passing point guard in the game, would lead the way to the Promised Land. Next month, Dallas can include the worthless Raymond Felton salary in a Rondo trade.
You know it's only a matter of time before the sneaky Jason Kidd is running the show in Milwaukee. He's going to go after the big stars with five cars. The Bucks' draft picks are too sexy right now, so expect Kidd, who used to be the game's best passer, to try and steal Rondo (today's best passer) from Boston.
