Jameer Nelson was cut by the Orlando Magic just before the free-agent frenzy started. He has waited until the dust has settled on the big names before he made a decision on where to go. Now he can pick the best situation for himself, but which team should he pick?

The Brooklyn Nets have been quiet in an offseason full of noise. They blew the budget last year trying to compete with the Miami Heat. They have lost head coach Jason Kidd and Paul Pierce, but they still have a very good team in the East. Nelson would be a great addition to help keep the pressure of Deron Williams. He could direct the second team, and even start on occasion when needed.

The current point guards on the Dallas Mavericks are Devin Harris and Raymond Felton. That is a grim look for a team who could really make noise in a stacked Western Conference. They need an insurance plan, and Nelson would be a perfect fit. I would honestly start him Day 1 over anyone the Mavs currently have. He could be the final piece for this team to be a real player.

The Houston Rockets lost out on pretty much every free agent they went after. Carmelo Anthony went back to the New York Knicks and Chris Bosh went back to the Heat. Chandler Parsons left to play for the Mavs, but that doesn't mean this isn't still a very good team. Nelson could be great next to James Harden's scoring ability.

The Heat are in recovery mode right now. They lost the best player in the NBA in LeBron James, but they did retain a majority of their team from last season. They could use another guard to help with depth, and Nelson would be a great fit.

The New York Knicks are currently going into the season with Jose Calderon and Pablo Prigioni as their point guards. New president Phil Jackson has been wheeling and dealing since he arrived, and more guards could be out the door. That leaves the door open for Nelson to return to the same place he made a name for himself at St. Joe's.
