The Lakers were absolutely terrible last season on the defensive end of the court. There were more holes on the court then in a slice of Swiss cheese. Coach Scott has always taken the approach of defense first, and makes rotations that can be interchanged quickly when the situation on the floor is changed. His defensive tactics will allow the Lakers to stay within striking distance in tight games.
