Last season The Trail Blazers bolted out of the starting gates, winning 21 of their first 25 games, including a streak of 11 straight. That hot stretch was punctuated by an impressive victory over the Indiana Pacers, a team with the league’s best record at the time. Next game, the Blazers followed up with a second straight impressive win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Despite scoring 51 points in a game last season, Corey Brewer can't do everything. This includes dunking on Thomas Robinson, which was revealed in a February game at the Moda Center. Robinson's insane block on Brewer is easily one of the best blocks of the year and better yet, resulted in an impressive alley-oop finish on the other end.

Damian Lillard is clutch. Very clutch. He showcased this numerous times last season, including back-to-back game winners on the road against the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers. Lillard’s tough spinning fadeaway in Detroit was followed up by a cold-blooded 30-foot dagger in the face of Alonzo Gee the very next game.

The Trail Blazers’ playoff run got off to a good start last season as LaMarcus Aldridge dropped a ridiculous 46 points and 18 rebounds in Game 1 against the Houston Rockets. Aldridge’s mid-range jumper was unstoppable and his effort on the boards helped the Blazers climb back from an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit to get the win.

If you didn't watch that clip at least three times, I highly recommend doing so. Damian Lillard’s series-clinching jumper against the Houston Rockets was the most exciting Blazer moment since Brandon Roy’s fourth-quarter flurry versus the Dallas Mavericks in 2011. That buzzer-beating three was the most recent heroics from a young player who is maturing exponentially and turning heads with his late-game poise.
