Derrick Rose has a unique opportunity this summer. The Chicago Bulls had better hope that there are no more injury issues surrounding their point guard, and it will be interesting to see if the Chi-town native ends up making Team USA or pulling out after Paul George's injury. The early indications after last Friday's scrimmage are that he'll make the cut. But even if he does not, take a look at his five biggest challenges going into next season.

The fans in Chicago can be a little overwhelming at times. I have been in the United Center enough to know that what they expect is a championship product, and Derrick Rose will feel the pressure to deliver. Hopefully the point guard is not crushed by the expectations.

He is probably removing a lot of the doubts about his knee while with Team USA, and if he can come out of the FIBA World Cup healthy, then that will be a win for the Chicago Bulls. He sure looked super athletic last Friday.

LeBron James is now essentially running the NBA. He just flattened out the Eastern Conference, and it should be a legitimate competition next season to see which teams make it and how the seeding shakes out.

If the Bulls are somehow able to fight their way to the NBA Finals next year, then the real problems start to begin when you think of the San Antonio Spurs, the Oklahoma City Thunder or the Los Angeles Clippers. They are my favorites to come out of the Western Conference, and I do not think the Bulls can handle any of those three.

Rose will have to adapt his game in order to have a long career, and as a result, there will be a lot more floaters over the top of big men by him next season. Whether the former Memphis Tiger can adjust his approach still remains to be seen.
