Andrew Wiggins has had an interesting start to his career, and I wonder whether his confidence has been shaken by anything that went down this summer. It does not seem so based on his latest interviews. Bill Self expressed to the media that his former player wanted to be traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the cause for that is quite obvious. Here are five reasons why Flip Saunders would be a fantastic coach for Wiggins.

Kevin Garnett used to be called "The Kid", but those days seem to be far behind us now. Flip was crucial in helping KG become a force in the tough Western Conference, and the head coach could aid Wiggins in a similar fashion.

Would LeBron have helped the efficiency of Wiggins next season? Absolutely. However, I do believe the small forward out of Kansas will benefit from handling the rock a lot against elite competition, and his game will blossom more quickly without King James rightfully hogging up the ball.

Minnesota could be a community that Wiggins bonds with in the future. It is not a long flight to Canada where he is from originally, and as a result we should see his parents at quite a few games. He comes from a family of athletes, and there should be some jaw-dropping dunks from him next season.

We all know about Kyrie Irving's issues in Cleveland, and it will be fun to watch how LeBron James gels with the young point guard, especially with the moody Dion Waiters waiting in the wings and usually demanding the ball. Ricky Rubio will not pose the same problems for Wiggins.

Between Zach LaVine and Wiggins both jumping out of the gym, you might mistake the Timberwolves for a circus at times next season. We will have to see if this trade jumpstarts the young Canadian's career, but one thing is certain: There should be some amazing impromptu dunk contests in practice.
