Wednesday officially marked the beginning of a brand new season for the Orlando Magic. The Magic once again got shut out of the national TV spotlight, but that does not mean that there aren't some games that loom large for the men in pinstripes next season. Here are five of the biggest.

Nothing is bigger than the first game of the regular season, and we will get to see just how good (or bad) the 2014-15 version of the Magic are when they pay a visit to the Big Easy to face off with an improved Pelicans team on opening night. This is the first time in four years that the Magic are opening the season on the road.

The first true test of the season for the Magic comes in their home opener when John Wall and the Washington Wizards pay a visit to the Magic Kingdom. The Wizards are expected to be contenders this season, and this will be a great test to see if the Magic are for real about making the playoffs this year.

3. Toronto Raptors, Nov. 1

The Raptors have owned the Magic in recent seasons, and their first showdown at home against the team that has caused them so much pain is a chance for them to exact a little bit of revenge.

2. Miami Heat, Nov. 22

The Magic's first encounter with their bitter rivals from South Florida looks to be a little bit more winnable than in recent years, as LeBron James has taken his talents back to Cleveland and Dwyane Wade a bit of a shell of himself. Can the Magic's young guns run the Heat out of the building?

The Magic's first big road test comes after their game against the Heat, as they head to LeBron's house to face off against the newest NBA juggernaut, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
