Minnesota will open the season on the road for the first time in 14 seasons. Their interest in Grizzlies' coach Dave Joerger before he decided to stay in Memphis adds a layer of intrigue here.

National television. Two coaches who were college teammates, and one fired the other when he was in the Timberwolves' front office. Defense optional for sure. First to 120 points wins?

Assuming the rumored trade goes through, this will be Kevin Love's first game back in Minnesota. Need I say more? Oh, there is that other guy that will be playing for the Cavaliers that may be a bit of a draw too.
