The Toronto Raptors finished their regular season with a franchise-best 48-34 mark last season. Coach Dwayne Casey and the rest of the Toronto Raptors faithful are looking for big things from this basketball team. As we look at their schedule, these are five games that stand out

The Raptors are hosting the Washington Wizards in a terrific early season Friday night matchup. Raptors fans will get to see two of the younger and more talented teams in the NBA square off against one another. I’m looking forward to the John Wall-Kyle Lowry matchup. Aren’t you?

4. Nov. 22, 2014: Toronto Raptors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

The Raptors head to Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers in what should be a huge showdown. The Raptors will be coming off a home game against Milwaukee, but that shouldn’t be too big a problem for the young Raptors to overcome. It will be interesting to see where both Cleveland and Toronto are at in this matchup.

The Raptors travel to the Big Apple to take on the Carmelo Anthony led New York Knicks in a classic Sunday evening Atlantic Conference matchup. Amir Johnson, Jonas Valanciunas and DeMar DeRozan should have a field day against the Knicks' less than stellar frontcourt.

The Raptors travel to Brooklyn to take on the Brook Lopez led Brooklyn Nets in what should be a fun Atlantic Division Matchup. The Kyle Lowry-Deron Williams matchup intrigues me the most and I would have to give the edge to Lowry here. The Raptors will also need to keep an eye on Mr. Clutch Joe Johnson in this Friday night battle.

The Raptors close out the 2014-15 regular season with a home game against the Charlotte Hornets. This game could be all about seeding and should be another great battle between two of the Eastern Conference's up and coming young teams. I want to see the Terrence Ross-Lance Stephenson matchup and am curious if Stephenson will blow in Ross’ ear.
