Cleveland Welcomes Kevin Love With Massive Throwback Banner

Cleveland has gone from a lowly sports city to an exciting sports city in matter of about four months this year. First it was Johnny Manziel getting drafted by the Cleveland Browns, then it was LeBron James coming home and now it’s Kevin Love heading to the Cleveland Cavaliers via a trade.

To welcome the All-Star power forward to his new home, someone (Starter?) put up a giant banner. Love looks like he’s headed to the Cavs to team up with Brad Daugherty and Mark Price though:

On Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers made a fourth-quarter comeback against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but ultimately lost 120-111. Unfortunately, along the way, rookie point guard D'Angelo Russell was struck in the groin by an errant pass at the hands of LeBron James, and ended up on the floor in quite a bit of agony as any man would. Thankfully, after leaving the game for a few minutes, Russell was able to return.
